DokeV is a new open-globe creature collector with K-pop and skating

DokeV is an upcoming open-world brute catching game from Black Desert Online developer Pearl Abyss, and it looks like a delightful oddments of influences, from Pokemon to Splatoon.

To beryllium unfrosted, this isn't the first sentence we've seen DokeV (pronounced Energy Department-kay-vee) - information technology was first disclosed at Pearl Abyss Unite 2019 - but the gamy has changed so much since its debut that the above trailer is billed American Samoa its "populace premiere." Probably the biggest difference is that Bone Abyss is no longer describing DokeV as an MMO; in a recent tweet, Pearl Abysm says the game is more accurately described as an "creature-collecting open world execute-adventure" and in fact isn't an MMO at all anymore.

"DokeV was initially introduced as an MMO, only we definite to move the game in a different direction and it's straight off a creature-assembling open world accomplish-adventure," Pearl Abyss explains. "Just disregardless of genre, we're going for fun, vibrant, and adventurous!"

In DokeV, lovely critters based on Korean spirits run amok in a beautiful urban environment, and naturally it's your problem to pinch those rascals. But as you can see in the trailer, there's a lot more going on in DokeV than just creature catching. There are a bunch of methods of transfer: you can skate around the city, use up to the water for some super C-skiing, swing about the sky from a magic roach, and even paraglide around Breathing spell of the Barbarian-style. Everything's set to some superior appealing K-kill beats, which vaguely reminds Pine Tree State of Splatoon's busy, disorganised energy.

DokeV doesn't have a release date yet, just it's designed for launch connected PC and consoles.

For everything on the right smart this year, here's our templet to new games of 2021 .
